      Dave,
      what you suggested made perfect sense, and can be done via a hash
      table. When something, like turning, is 3+CHA, I'd probably split it
      into two tags (BONUS:Turn|Times|3 and BONUS:Turn|Times|CHA) or
      something like that. Would tags ever need to be multiplied? As long
      as the formulas can get by on addition (which also implies
      subtraction), then I won't have to adjust my bonus tag logic much. I
      have an idea of how to define the variables so that you can output
      them on the character sheet, but I need a bit of time to chew on the
      details. I'll probably post my plan to see if anyone can see any
      flaws in it, or if they think it might need changing to handle
      situations I hadn't considered.
