Hi guys, I’m hoping one of you can offer me some guidance on why I’m seeing the following issue with skill points.

I was working on a gestalt class today and had set the STARTSKILLPTS:4 with the expectation that the total skill points at lvl 1 for the character would be 4 + Int Bonus X 4.   However when I test this what I’m getting is a 4 + Int Bonus + 1 X 4 at lvl one.  For example:

The Character has a STARTSKILLPTS:4 and an Int of 18 for a total starting skill points of 8.  At lvl 1 this should be calculated by 4 for a total of 32 skill points at lvl one and then 8 skill points for each following lvl adjusted upward as the Int bonus goes up.  Instead I’m getting a total of 36 skill points at level one and 9 at lvl 2 and onward.  So the question becomes where did the extra point come from?

I’m currently working with PCGen v5.16.4.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
