You probably added the class first, and the Int boost ability second. The
skill points get set when you choose the class to level up in. You should try
      it the other way round.

Ah, that would explain it. Unless it s granted by the race, the +2 to INT won t add to Skill Ranks. I m not sure if that follows the Pathfinder Rules or not

        Ah, that would explain it.

Unless it's granted by the race, the +2 to INT won't add to Skill Ranks. I'm not sure if that follows the Pathfinder Rules or not though.

I'll have to look it up unless some else knows the answer off hand.

There is a way to fix that. If your homebrew says the human +2 intelligence counts towards skill points, then you would just put a prexxx tag on the BONUS to the stat inside the RACE itself.

Again, let me find out if this is following the rules or not.

I just downloaded the software yesterday and am using 5.16.1 with the
new Pathfinder data set.  My wizard is level 1 specialist
(conjuration).  The only thing I'm doing is following the list of
things to be done.  I gave him a 16 Int boosted +2 with the human
ability boost for an 18 Int.  The languages work correctly (i.e. 4),
so I believe the 18 Int is being recognized.  It also recognized my
bonus human feat at 1st level.

I haven't done any modifications or loaded any other data sets.  I
also haven't modified the House Rules tab in preferences... should be
default settings.  Let me know what other info. might be helpful for
you.  Thanks for your quick response.

Basically it's just Intelligence-based stuff that need to be handled
carefully. One other thing is, add all bonus languages before adding the
                second class level.

Also you can never be wrong if you fill all ability pools on the racial
ability tab before adding a class.

                Regards,
