And if the new TE doesn't work out, they get a free shot, right?

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

It means Develin is cut, not that he's gone.  He will be on and off the PS and roster from now until December unless some team wants to commit for 3 games.

I read of the signing of this kid before I saw that Develin was cut. Not sure which happened first, but I suspected that adding a 4th TE (for now) would mean that Develin was gone. I liked Develin. Guess I just like the FB position. Old school, ya know? :-) Means that Hoomanawanui will likely go back to doing the blocking work from the backfield in 2-RB sets. He does OK.

I'm with you on George Winn, by the way. As I said before, I've gotta luv that name! ;-) He really did look good against the Giants backups last week. Hope they get him onto the PS.

Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Pats had TE Matt Mulligan in for a workout today.  The veteran TE is known for his inline blocking.  I remember him playing for the NY Jets a few years a gao.

I suspect that Josh Kline will be signed to the Practice Squad tomorrow.
