After seeing the replay I have to agree 100% with you. That hit on Jackson was clean. The hit on Fitzpatrick wasn't that dirty either. It was facemask to facemask. Spikes didn't lead with his head. It was Fitzpatricks follow through on the pass.

Not liking his gratuitous head shots in this game, especially the one on Jackson on Buffalo's final drive (I don't care that it caused Jackson to drop the ball -- that was a dirty cheap shot and I hope Spikes's wallet gets dinged even harder than what he did to Jackson's head).
***Rich, did you actually watch the play where spikes hits Jackson or just look at the result? Fred Jackson comes back across the field and when he gets into traffic, lowers his head just as the hit is coming. Spikes leads with his shoulder which would have hit Jackson square in the chest, but instead, hits the top of the ducked head. Clean hit.
