I agree with you.  Wilson will be scrutinized because of where he was picked vs where the draftniks expected him to be picked.  The comparison will be made against those players that were picked behind him, and rightfully so

I can only think that BB and company felt that this would be their only certain pick left in the draft and if they wanted Wilson, this would be their last chance to get him.  They knew the second , 2nd round pick would be traded, but didn't know for what.  Would Wilson have lasted until the third round?  Fifth Rd?

A lot of people will be watching Wilson this season because the pick was so surprizing to just about everyone. I sure will be. Apparently BB saw something that he really liked and figured someone else might be on to him. Wilson was scouted by a number of teams.

Day one picks were a grand slam!!!

Day 2    I was extremely frustrted over the Tavon Wilson selection and he will forever be under intense scrutiny because he was drafted so high.  Other good players were still on the board like Kendall Reyes, Trumaine Johnson, Brandon Brooks and Ron Brooks.

Bequette was a pretty good selection ... he has pass rush ability ... lets see where that goes.  he may only be a situational pass rusher this upcoming season as he learns the OLB position in the 3-4.

I'll admit it, I am fascinated by Nate Ebner and the conversion from elite Rugby player to NFL Safety and ST maven!

I have watched Rugby Sevens and know a little about teh game.  One of my co-workerd plays for all Air Force team and I have learned alot abou tthe game from him.  I was watching the recent World Championships and thinking to myself, whuy can't this world class athlete from Tonga be an NFL fullback?  They hit like trains, no pads, run like deers and can catch (and drop kick) the ball.

I liked the last three picks by the Pats. Jeremy Ebert had a great career at Northwestern (you know he is smart if he got into Northwestern).  I posted him as one of my sleepers coming into the draft off his exceptional Pro-Day.

Dennard can be a steal or just another guy.  trick or treater!

Overall grade  B+ due to the Tavon Wilson selection.
