Could happen. Brees has broken Marino's record; but if Brady (4897
yds) passes for 288 yards against the Bills next week, in a game the
Patriots must win to ensure the #1 seed in the AFC, then he, too, will
surpass Marino. He's not likely to surpass Brees (5087 yds), since the
Saints must also play for a win to have a chance at a bye week. The
49ers now hold that spot with the same 12-3 record as the Saints, and
the tiebreaker edge. (49ers figure to hold it with a win over the Rams
at St Louis; but the Saints host the Panthers at the same time, and
will have to go for the win, and hope for the best.)

Another superb season (overall) for our future HOF QB, despite the
many unnerving slow starts of the past few weeks. He is, without a
doubt, one of the best QBs in the history of the NFL; and we Patriots
fans are very lucky to have had the opportunity to enjoy his career
      with our team!

I hope he does pass Marino. He certainly deserves it.

(By the way, I applaud Brees for his great accomplishment; and I'm
happy to see another of the good guys in the league have such historic
      success.)
