I’m with you Mark.  The defense was impressive in the first half, when our offense was playing well.  The defense did come up with big plays but when our offense couldn’t stay on the field and score our defensive demise was all too predictable.

This loss is strictly on the Offense this week and not the entirely the Defenses fault.

First Buffalo TD drive is kept alive by pretty lame Roughing the Passer call.

With under 2 minutes to go in the half and the Patriots driving for at least a FG, Brady throws behind Woodhead and he tips it with his left hand, the LB makes a terrific play and Intercepts the ball and slides out of bounds.  Whistle blows, plays over.  However, Patriots Offensive Guard Brian Waters is hit with a cheap shot by a Buffalo player and no call is made.  Thats two weeks in a row that a Patriots player has been hit without the protection of the referees.  Bills roll down for a FG (6 point swing).

Bills have the momentum now with the opening KO of the 2nd half.  Patriots defense stops them three and out.  Moorman gets off a good kick of 46 yards and Edelman has an even better 17 yard return.  Pats have the ball inside Bills territory at the 37.  Ocho-stinko rounds off his square in route.  Brady throws to the spot that 85 is suppossed to be at.  85 allows McKelvin to get inside position on what appears to be an underthrown ball.  Seven plays later the Bills score 21-17.

Pats move the ball again and drive the field (11 plays) settling for a FG.  However, they only run three run plays.  24-17.

Pats Defense holds Buffalo again to 3 and out ... end of the 3rd Qtr.

Brady throws a INT for a TD. Brady forces a throw (no look - he looked right to Ridley but never looked left and just heaved it down there) to Gronk down the seam that gets picked off.  Pats have an apparent game saving INT in the endzone nullified by a 50/50 call of pass intereference where the offensive player grabs Sergio Brown around the waist.  Instead of their 3rd INT of the game the Bills have 1st and goal from the 1.

Ocho-stinko drops and apparent TD pass.  Pats eventually score, but 5 additional minutes are taken off the clock.
