Couldn't begin to guess what goes on in Moss' head but hopefully it will allow him to get the most out of his bountiful talent and athleticism for the Pats next year.

      Harry,
Your points are valid.  Do you think Moss had perhaps some injury nagging him all season, or maybe some other problem of a personal nature (family, etc.)?  Maybe there is a drug problem, or some sort of mental defect or disease.  Or, it could be as many have suggested: he is a quitter, and that would truly be the unkindest cut of all.  To think that any player, with or without the amount of talent Moss has, would put his teammates in a position of dependence on that talent they have, and then not play up to expectations, thereby taking the game plan out of the competition on the field, is detestible.  (Wow, that was a mouthful).  I hope that there is a logical reason for his occasionally lackluster performance, because just being childish or lazy wouldn't cut it for me.  If we ever find out, that is.  We should at least give him the same courtesy we give people in our criminal defense system: innocent until proven guilty.  It's not that I'm a big Moss fan; I'm just a Patriots fan who hopes beyond hope that our top-flight coach and quarterback aren't capable of making the same character misjudgement.
