Gotta disagree Don. Cassel came off the bench and played well enough to to get his team to the playoffs. How many first round quarterbacks coming out of the draft have done something like that in their first year? My son could remember only one - Ben Roethlisberger. How many 'can't miss' quarterbacks have failed miserably way before getting close to that stature? Cassel is a known quantity in that he has succeeded in the NFL. That is worth a lot more than any player coming out of college now matter how much upside he has. BB could have easily gotten at least a high first round pick and a player or another DP just for Cassel. BB did his friend Scott Pioli a big favor slipping Cassel and Vrabel by the rest of the league on the cheap to help him get started in his new digs. Hopefully the league won't fine him for it.
