My 17 year old daughter has that on her myspace photo, sort of with regards to her teen boyfriend--she also has a current line for "mood of the day" where she says she's mourning the loss of the Patriots too....moved me almost to tears the way she supported me on that one.You COULD alter yours to say..a perfect fan of the imperfect Patriots!!In my mind we are all perfect fans and our team is perfect in many senses of that word..anyways, I love your line!!Susan----- Original Message -----From: GeorgeSent: Tuesday, February 05, 2008 7:33 PMSubject: RE: [SPAM] [patriotzip] Re: This One Will Hurt Forever***** I think you've helped me settle on my new sig. line, Kevin! :-)

Maybe we were spoiled by the continuous excellence put forth by our
team, and in the process, have forgotten what losing feels like. Oh,
we know what ALMOST losing is like. I'm sure we remember the past
seasons of mediocrity, not making the playoffs, huge lopsided losses.
Now, here we are, poised on the edge of posterity, about to accomplish
the seemingly impossible thing for which all teams strive. Then, for
whatever reason(s), it just goes away, and in its place is a huge empty
feeling. We were prepared to fill that void with feelings of glory,
grandeur, finality, and the ultimate feeling: the one that says "we did
it!" But, since that is now gone, and unlikely to be repeated in the
same manner, we must console ourselves with the hope of the future. We
have the strength that comes from KNOWING. We know the Patriots will
be in the hunt again. That few teams can match up to them. That there
are no guarantees in life. Sure, it hurts now. Let's move on to the
draft and the promise of the future. We are the BEST!
