Group Description

Panama Gardening is an UNCENSORED group for friendly information exchange about fruits, vegetables, flowers or herbs in Panama or the surrounding countries. Everything related to these themes (e.g. agriculture, environment, meteorology, astronomy, chemistry ...) is on topic.
Gardening experiences from other countries or climate zones are on topic as far they are in some way related to our climatic zone. Hints where to buy seeds, gardening tools and anything gardening in Panama, including the use of plants and fruits for cooking (recipes!) and in medicine or recreation are welcome. Images of/from your or other people's garden are appreciated.
Discussion about the group's policies are on topic as well.
No holy cows here, not even the list owner ... but please be polite and only attack the message, not the messenger.
No censorship in this group unless you abuse it for spamming or blatantly offending other members. Spammers are removed without warning.

The group is open for people from any nation, but the main language is english.
Spanish language posts are welcome as well as they may help to improve our knowledge of our host's mothertongue. Anyway an english translation or resume would be appreciated.

Off topic is anything not related to the above, especially politics not related to the principal topics. Environmental or agricultural politics having an influence on Panama or Central America in general are of course on topic.
"Love to Garden Club" members are particularly welcome and invited to post photos and announce meetings here.

Please be aware of our plant and seeds exchange database (see messages #236, 238) as well as the new APPLICATIONS (see at the bottom of the menue).

New members are automatically monitored until their first post shows they are not spammers. So if you are a new member and your first post does not show, please be patient and wait about 24 hours. Please excuse the inconvenience.
