If you are planning aliyah, this Job Fair is for you. With the first
round of interviews taking place in New York by live videocam,
followed by in-person interviews in Jerusalem, you will be meeting
employers eager to hire English speaking staff. And by arranging your
trip in conjunction with the OU National Convention, you can take
advantage of OU discount rates at Jerusalem's Ramada Hotel and all the
other great programs the Convention has to offer.

At your request, a mentor will be assigned to you to guide you
through the process of writing an "Israeli" resume, finding a job and
the entire employment process.
To help you choose a community, leaders of various towns and cities,
as well as real estate agents and developers, will be on-hand to talk
to you about living with like-minded people in English speaking
This Job Fair is also open to olim already living in Israel looking
for employment or a career or community change.
How it Works:
Part 1- New York
We will introduce you to Israeli companies with open job positions
suitable for English speakers seeking to secure employment before
making their move.
We will forward your resume for review by the companies you want to
We will set up video interviews at OU headquarters in New York with
candidates the companies want to meet.
We will arrange appointments for live, in-person interviews with
your prospective employer(s) in Jerusalem.
Live, in-person interviews with prospective employers will take place
on Tuesday, November 25th, 2008, at Merkaz Hamagshimim-Hadassah 7a Dor
VeDorshav Street (in the German Colony) between 5:00 and 9:00 pm.
Video conferencing will be arranged for companies unable to attend in

Counselors and mentors ready to help you prepare for every step in
landing a good job.
Help with preparing your resume to appeal to an Israeli employer.
Printers will be on-hand to print out your newly re-written resume
at the November 25th Job Fair.
Monday, November 24th from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm.
Meet community leaders who will show you the strengths of their
community and the services provided.
Meet real estate agents, developers and builders who can guide you
and help you identify the community where you can purchase or rent a
home in confidence and make yourself a happy life in Israel.
The OU Job Board is happy to provide these services at no cost.
