Great Entrance, at the Sunday Divine Liturgy in the Synodal cathedral, and afterwards, said
that a Pannikhida should also be served.
I don't know if anyone carried that out, or not.

Second: for your information, I joined ROCOR in the summer of 1964 in Mahopac, and was
already more or less fluent in Russian before then.
I had begun learning Russian in 1961, when I was 14, majored in Slavic linguistics in
college (1964-68), before going to seminary in Jordanville (from 1968-71).
I have known Vl. Lavr since the summer of 1966. He drove me from the bus stop in
Mohawk to the monastery, and was the first person I met in Jordanville.
