      Your Grace Bishop Christodoulos, Bless!

Please be assured that we here at St James parish continue to pray for
Metropolitan Pavlos both in the appointed litany and at the Great Entrance,
calling to mind, and declaring before God with His angels our fervent
      supplication on his behalf.

Personally, I cannot help but tearfully recall my own father's stroke in
1976. After a long period of unresponsiveness, he began to squeeze my hand,
and then on our last visit with him before his repose opened his love-filled
eyes, communicating volumes. He even tried to speak a few words. If it
be His will for Geronda to recover, we pray for that. If not, may those
who have already seen, heard and felt the love of their father in Christ be
comforted by their memories and the knowledge that God is merciful and hears
      our prayers, and also comforts.

      In Christ's unity,
      priest Mark
