I was never a 7th day adventist myself, but I am related to some, and have some experience dealing with them.

In short, they started off as a fairly wierd cult, even by Protestant standards.  They have been moving into a more mainstream evangelical position over the past few decades, but their observance of the Sabbath and Kosher rules still make them fairly distinctive... and many still are suspicious of them.

I remember as a kid spending time in an Adventist home on Saturdays, and they did not allow any TV until sunset... however, an exception was made for Hee-Haw.

Is there someone out there who converted to the Orthodox Faith having
      been a 7th Day Adventist?

Please contact me; I need help in discussions with a 7th Day Adventist.

Any help from anyone is appreciated----

They are like modern day Jewdizers, keeping "Sabbath" and
keeping "kosher" meals by going vegetarian...
