      ---------------------------------------------------

Greetings in the Name of Christ,

A NEW Prologue list for those interested in receiving the daily scripture reading (Gospel and Epistle) as well as the Lives of Orthodox Saints from the Prologue from Ochrid by St. Nikolai Velimirovic has been re-established. St. Nikolai was a Serbian Hierarch whose contemporaries were St. Justin Popovich and St. John of San Francisco.

In Serbia, at the Orthodox Seminary in Karlovsky, the three great saints of this century were once seen sitting at a table conversing about Orthodoxy and Church life. The three greatest saints of the modern era, in one room, both incredible and miraculous. Glory to GOD in His saints!!

The daily readings are according to the Orthodox Calendar, also known as the Julian (or old) calendar of the Church.

      All are welcome!

The Lives of the Saints have always been used by the Church as a sort of tool for Christians to strive to emulate.

Lives ranging from heroic martyrs to the simple Orthodox monks of the Desert to the historic Cappadocian Fathers and powerful Orthodox Patriarchs; like St. Patriarch Photius of Constantinople and St. Pope Gregory of Rome.

The greatest example of humanity, can be found in the life of a humble Orthodox Christian saint.

I have resurrected the Prologue list for that very reason. I hope and pray that all who read will gain great benefit from the lives of the saints of GOD.

May He forever be with you!
