The number of uninsured Americans is 43 million, not 4.3 million, (which only stengthens the point you are making).  That's 1 in 7 Americans.  About 15 million of the uninsured are children.

      Dear George,
We in the US like to brag about how good our medical
system is but we forget about the 4.3 million who have
NO insurance and how some hospitals are closing
because of so many no-pays. I really hate to see
socialised medicine here in the US, but between the
industrial base being given to China and so many folks
losing their jobs I think that it is only a matter of
time. Either that  or it will implode.

This raises the issue that there needs to be a comprehensive directory
of the parishes, institutions, and clergy of the ROCOR, complete with
links, pictures, biographies, and histories, kind of like what one would
find on the website of the OCA.

Sounds like a good summer programming project.

If anyone is interested in helping design something like that, please
        let me know via e-mail.

            Dear Seraphim,
Thanks for the correction. I sent that and then I read
an article in the Detroit News that said 43 million
and I though Oh Oh, I made a boo boo. All I know is
that it is bad enough for the hospitals to worry. Two
of our daughters are nurses and they really tell me
            horror stories.
            Thanks again,
            Love in Christ,
            Sub-deacon Lawrence Most
