Don't know much about the size of that parish.
>>Since it is very near by to where I live I will comment.
It, like Holy Dormition in Stafford and St. Peter the Aleut in Fresno is very
small, almost a family chapel.
St. Andrew Church in Glendora was originally a joint effort with the Quakers,
whose charitable outreach somehow wound up settling a group of displaced
cossacks here in Southern CA, and providing them as well with a palce of
worship. The parish was dormant for many years, when Fr. Nikita Orloff left
the Fountain street Sobor in Los Angeles and started to serve there for a

We can and must pray that God will guide our Hierarchs, and those who have left us, to His own good will. And we must also keep in mind that God still provides all with free will...those who have created ROCE have done so out of genuine fear for the welfare of their Church, and those who have remained with ROCOR have done so out of genuine love for their Church. So, rather than praying for what each of us sees as the "real" imperative, let us remember in our prayers that God has His own imperatives, and it is for the fulfillment of His own will that we should pray. Then, our prayers cannot fail to be answered.

not care about the people who have gone into schism. That is not the
case, and obviously even one soul being lost to schism is a tragedy.
My point was simply this: it is not correct to characterize this
schism as comprizing a large number of parishes, or a large number of
people. Hopefully, they will all be reconcilled to the Church one
day, and we certainly pray that this will happen... but we need not
exagerate the size of the schism to show our concern for those who
are in schism.

or has done in the past, would make any difference in this.
We must understand that all this "confusion" and "disappointment"
is the result of a diligent propaganda campaign against our Church. The
propaganda consists of "disinformation"--sometimes correct facts given a
completely misleading "spin", sometimes distorted information, sometimes
And, although one of the websites that is disseminating this
anti-ROCOR propaganda claims that there is a "highly organized and
determined group" that is taking over ROCOR and causing all of this, in
reality is is the other way around: they, the group known as ROCiE, is the
one that is "highly organized and determined". Our people are anything but
organized, anything but good at getting a message across, and often timid
and hesitant to take action.
The only way, therefore, that you are going to find any peace is
to stop giving any credence to the enemies of our Church.
