The Naval Academy is a very tough school to get into and an even
tougher one to succeed in. It's not for the faint of heart! Yet
Andrew Kinard graduated from there with honors. I am so sorry to
report that this gifted young man was critically wounded in Iraq by
an IED yesterday after only being there for a short time. He is in
Germany now in stable condition and has lost both of his legs. You
may email Cindi at ciaisrael@...
with your words of prayer
and encouragement for him and his family, and she will relay them.
Through Him, With Him, In Him,
Below is the latest update on Andrew Kinard. This young man is the
son of Dr. Harry and Mary Kinard of Spartanburg, SC. Andrew has only
been in Iraq for a few weeks, not sure the exact number. He graduated
with top honors from the Naval Academy and sometime in the wee hours
of Sunday morning, was hit by an IED. Below is the latest update.
Tuesday, 4:50PM, Oct 31, 2006: The latest update is that Dr. Harry &
Mary talked with the Surgeons in Germany this afternoon. Andrew's
condition at this point is stable; he has received a massive wound,
he is undergoing surgery this afternoon; yes he has suffered the loss
of both legs. Let's continue to pray for the Kinard Family, for
Andrew, and those who are taking care of Andrew.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen
to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of
your heart. I will be found by you,"....Jeremiah 29: 11-14
Be blessed and be a blessing,
