      Three questions:

[1] Must all 'created' values within a given OPML be unique ??

[2] If the answer to [1] is 'no', is the value of the 'text'
attribute used as a secondary identification key ??

[3] If an <outline> element does not possess a 'created' attrib,
does it default to the 'created' value of the nearest ancestor possessing
a 'created' attrib, or is 'created' just undefined for that
      <outline> element ??

Stan, that s the key question. For Scripting News you can assume: 1. Every has a created attribute. 2. They are unique. Dave ... From: Stan Krute

        Stan, that's the key question.

For Scripting News you can assume:

        1. Every <outline> has a "created" attribute.

        2. They are unique.
