Group Description
Welcome to the new and improved Save I-Man & O:VI list, *the* list for brainstorming new ideas and projects to help return our beloved show to the airwaves.
As some may know, Operation: Visible Ink (O:VI) began shortly after the untimely cancellation of SciFi's #2 show and was focused on garnering publicity for both the show and the fans' efforts to save it. We even succeeded in getting folks to the table to discuss a possible movie and pulled off a kicking publicity stunt (check out the photos on our website: www.saveinvisibleman.com).
Over time, that focus has expanded to include all facets of communication, including writing to networks, campaigning for DVDs, charity fund-raising, and just about any other idea that can be used to keep the names of I-Man and its cast and crew in TPTB's and media's eye. We work closely with the Imaniacs (the show's unofficial fan club), the IMMPs (a grass roots fan effort named Invisible Man Marketing and Promotion), and the folks over at Perseus Project.
But most of all, we want to work with YOU, those wonderfully kooky and creative I-Man fans at large. So come on in, pull up a chair, and let's get those insane ideas rolling!
