Go behind the scenes with Journey, the third game from the creators of the award-winning games flOw™ and Flower™, and see how the game's soundtrack was recorded live.

With music composed by Austin Wintory and performed by the Macedonia Radio Symphonic Orchestra, this trailer also features brand new gameplay footage never seen before.

      By Ian Sherr

Videogames, television and movies have been inching closer together.

The evidence this weekend: an album score for a videogame has been nominated for the first time for a Grammy award.

The nominee is Austin Wintory’s score for “Journey,” a game made for Sony's 6758.TO -10.14% PlayStation 3 that depicts the adventure of a nameless robed figure exploring various ruins in a desert. It has been nominated for a Grammy award for “Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media.”

Wintory’s score will compete with soundtracks for movies–”Hugo,” “The Dark Knight Rises,” “The Artist” and “The Adventures Of Tintin: The Secret Of The Unicorn,” the latter created by famed composer John Williams.

“It’s a crazy honor,” says Wintory.
