I have a G3 tower and G4 tower with just one Oasys card. On one, I loaded the SpeedTools ATA Hi-Capacity driver so I could have a partition greater than 128GB.

Hello,  Yes they can be a good option.   One important note - in my Akai S6000 for instance,  it usually uses SCSI hard disk,  so in that case I used a

Maybe you can look into using a Compact Flash card with an ide to CF adapter or something similar?  I have Akai Z8 and S6000 samplers using CF cards and the

I have 2 Oasys cards in 2 G4 400 (sawtooth) Macs, which also just seem to keep going. I only tend to use one at a time, so the other is mostly just a back up
