I find much of the recent correspondance by Mr Hugh is both misleading and highly offensive to me as a Muslim. Among the sources he cites, the criteria for "distinguishing" between good & bad Muslims is compromised by these self appointed "experts" political agenda and uninformed analysis. Like everyone, Muslims should oppose terror and injustice of every kind, but to be targeted for years on end by a whispering camaign and cherry picked "information" on the internet is nothing short of "New MacCarthyism" (as a well regarded writer from the Jewish press has termed it). Let us instead look for common ground and practical measures against violence and alienation, instead of casting aspersions please. FAIR (the media watch group) has critiqued some of these so-called sources of information- - I hope you will find their analysis helpful in coming to a more nuanced & objective perspective. With hope for better,.Adem Carroll
