Group Description

NORM New York City is a support group for circumcised men seeking to restore their foreskins, an important part of the male sexual anatomy that most of us were wrongfully deprived of at birth.

This group is intended to bring together and grow the community of restoring men in New York City and surrounding areas. Currently we host bi-monthly meetings in Manhattan. Announcements of upcoming meetings are posted here. In addition, we hope this group will be place for men to connect with other local restorers and to exchange information, advice, and support about restoration and intactivism (the movement seeking to end routine infant circumcision and other forms of involuntary genital modification). To help build our local community of restoring men, we encourage you to send a message to the group introducing yourself after you join. Messages and the membership list are private and can only be viewed by other members of the group.

Since restoration inevitably involves discussion of sexual anatomy and behaviors, we welcome all men age 18 and older, regardless of race, ethnicity, ability, circumcision status, or sexual orientation. Please have your age and gender indicated in your profile when you join.

More about NORM:

The National Organization of Restoring Men is a non-profit support group for men who have concerns about being circumcised, are considering foreskin restoration, or are in the process of restoring their foreskins. We provide a safe space for circumcised men to learn about methods and techniques of foreskin restoration and share their stories without being ridiculed. Our aim is to help men regain a sense of wholeness -- physically as well as emotionally.
