Re: [nwneon] 205/50/16

If I were you I'd get the Kumho 712s in 205/45r16 or 205/50r15. Don't go
with a larger diameter tire, the taller rims will slow you down enough
and nevermind a taller tire. If you can spend more get A520s in
205/45r16 or hotter rubber in 15".
For looks stick with 16", for performance go with 15".
I'm with Steve here, I have the Yoko A520s, very VERY sticky, fun tires, look
great, aggressive looking tread that actually functions as good as it looks.
Tires cost 106 each through Tirerack, America's Tire/Discount Tire matched
price for me. My Enkies (mine now anyways) wiegh in around 16 lbs, so I dont
feel I lost a WHOLE lot to acceleration.
oh, I have the 205/45/16 option, taller would throw the speedo off, and would
be awefully close to rubbing the spring perches...check out pics here:
might have to hit reload, geocities sucks.

thanks for reading.
- I run 205/40/16 and my speedo is off about 2-3mph @ 60mph. Soo it's not to
bad and now I 'kinda' have lower gear for better accleration...but really it
prob just makes up for my heavy ATP 'SPA' rims.
