Just three days until the candidates respond to what we, not the fat cats, want to know!

Philadelphia Neighborhood Networks: Connect with your neighbors...change the world
      Hello Philly NNers!

Please join us to hear from primary candidates for Governor at a community forum held by and for the Philadelphia community this Sunday, March 23rd at Gershman Hall, 401 South Broad St., at Pine. Doors open for light refreshments and networking at 1:15.  The event starts at 2 PM sharp.  RSVP here so we know you’re coming!

Led by Neighborhood Networks and our partner Philly MoveOn Council, over 60 organizations from diverse communities have pooled their resources to bring together candidates for Governor to ask them the questions you want to hear answers to. That means questions on a range of topics including education, the schools-to-prison pipeline, women's rights, progressive tax policy, employment and jobs, energy and environment, healthcare, among others. Join us on the 23rd to hear the answers.

In Pennsylvania, and especially in Philadelphia, elected leaders should understand, respond to and advocate for policies that create social and economic justice for all. Consistently the needs of our part of the state and the needs of the people who live here have not been a priority in Harrisburg. We are stuck with a political system that increasingly favors the needs of the 1% and often ignores the needs of the rest of us.

This forum is your way of being heard and registering ourselves in numbers to demand change.

      Please be there!

      Thanks for all you do.
