      I hear that. Email is becoming outdated at a rapid rate.  I don't checking as often as I should either. They are sparce these days.

      The announcements are very useful especially for announcing bands and events in addition to topics.
       
      I have all the messages delivered to my inbox.  I quickly delete any I’m not interested in and don’t miss things I want to see.  At first I thought it was too much mail, but it is quick system to delete; faster than deleting the spam I get.
