      Looks kind of interesting. 20 sites to find. A team can be either one or two people. Only 1 GPSr per team and the team must stay together. Sign up fee is $30 per person -- not per team -- so a team of 2 would cost $60 to enter. The following is a cut and paste of a short blub on the site. Rules, etc. are all linked from the site.
      ============ ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ====
      Begin cut and paste:

      Thisis a treasure hunt using a GPS.  The treasure hunt is set up in amanner similar to that of an orienteering course.  There will be 20sites that each has a punch for a card that the participant will carry.

      Prizesinclude a new GPS and a cell phone with GPS capability, and a CD withtopographical maps.  Other prizes include gift certificates to JambaJuice and Yak's Coffee shop.  T-shirts will be given to the first 50entrants.  A raffle will be held for another prize.
      End cut and paste:
      ============ ========= ========= ========= ========= ========= ====

      I don't suppose I'll be particiapting. My weekends are going to be consumed by a major "Honey Do" for some time to come.
