- Jul 12, 2009I saw the same book at Amazon, however, the one I saw for $15 was a 1986 edition and since the "Challenge" was listed in 2004, I "assumed" it was based on the 2003 edition. I could be wrong and/or there may be no differences in the map grids between the two editions. But that was my reason for not buying that one.----- Original Message -----From: Tammy PokorneySent: Sunday, July 12, 2009 12:53 PMSubject: Re: [NUTS] Re: Northern California DeLorme ChallengeThis is funny because I was just looking into this challenge today and was finding the same obstacles. However, through a link on a website- "BRT Insights-Whitewater Kayaking", I found the book as low as $15 on Amazon. I ordered one. I can't seem to copy the link though. I was going to post it here. Not sure why I can't, but maybe one of you can if you can get to the page.Tammy----- Original Message -----From: JackSent: Sunday, July 12, 2009 12:46 PMSubject: [NUTS] Re: Northern California DeLorme Challenge

I Googled the Northern California DeLorme Atlas and found several retailers/sellers that offer it at a much cheaper price. I also thought about looking at used book stores. I do know someone who has the Northern Ca one and am going to ask to look at it to compare the two and mark the pages that are the same as the old. I will let you know what I find. I am hoping that I don't have to buy another atlas.
Thanks for the help. Do you remember the websites that had the cheaper prices? I've been drawing a blank on any site where I can get the old Atlas for less than $50.
