      Sorry, Lee.

My recollection was that it was something unique to your combination of hardware, drivers, OS, and NoteTab.

Still, knowing information on hardware, OS, etc. is important to pinning these things down, thus the clip library I put together to gather information on a user's system.

Anyone with a weird issue, please post the results of the clip "Get Wine & *nix Info so we can compare for the common thread.

The clip library is available in the files area of the group.

      Sample output from my system:

      Date: August 09, 2011
      Hardware: Asus
      Processor: i686 i686 i386
      RAM: 6048MB
      Operating System: Linux 2.6.38-10-generic-pae #46-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jun 28 16:54:49 UTC 2011
      Distribution: Ubuntu Ubuntu 11.04 \n \l

      Window Manager: Gnome 2.32.1
      Type: NTP
      Name: NoteTab Pro 6.2
      Wine: wine-1.3.25

      Wine Thinks This is:
      Platform: Win32_NT
      Version: WinXP

      Larry

The issue I have has been ongoing for several other users in this group so it is not new (and I have now become used to it after so many years). It has nothing to do with my hardware.

Everything is fine on this end.

      Lee
