  • Hi, I noticed that syntax highlighting is haywire. I assumed that the programmers were already aware of this fault and were working on it. No doubt there will be an upgrade soon. I hope so. • Hi, I don't know if it would help, but I've got some pages that might help. See 'www.normist.co.uk/course/000.htm'. That's three zeros dot htm. It's a bit out of date, but I've got most of an updated version with HTML5 and CSS. It's about 2 and 1/2 Megabytes. A bit much for an email, but if you think that you might be able to make use of it, I could send on CD. Regards, Michael Rawley

  • Hi Joe, Let me add my two penniworth. As has been said, Frames are on their way out. The reason that they still work is that if browsers no longer react to them, too many webmasters are going to have to burn the the midnight oil. At the same time you can't get too up-to-date because browsers have not caught up to the latest standards, apart from which some people still use out-of...

  • Hi All, Just for fun, I copied a 3 KB html page into Microsoft word (ctrl-C --> ctrl-V) and saved it as a web page. It had stretched to 26 KB with all the junk that it had added. When I tried to validate it using CSE, the validator seized up. It gives up after detecting 50 errors!! regards, Michael Rawley
