  • You can launch it with a clip: ^$GetOutput(cmd.exe /c start microsoft-edge:http://www.cnn.com)$ Might give clues to how to set it as second browser. I may play around with that, since I don’t use IE much anymore. • Ray, take a look at my RecipeTools website on your phone, and rotate the phone to see it resize. Also, look on desktop, but narrow down the window to see how it is responsive to window size. http://recipetools.gotdns.com/recipetools/index.php You can view source to see how I’ve done that. Also, look at ‘responsive’ templates to better see how to do it. I would suggest...

  • I don't see the problem, but I'd start by changing both the link and the target to addendum, to see if that clears it. I notice that some targets are within p tags and others not, but I don't see how that could be the problem. • What I do is download one of the free but fairly capable wysiwyg html editors, and create a skeleton of what I want. Setting up newspaper columns would be pretty straight forward. Or you could do it with a blog site. Once it looks like you want it to look, type in some junk text to make sure it works as you wish. Then, view source, get a copy and maintain it in NoteTab. I've done...

  • No, that's what I wrote, but was not being precise enough in this case. Span doesn’t do anything by itself, it just provides a handle for a bit of text. There are quite a few ways you could approach what to do with that handle. So, to me at least, wrap in a span is a generic term that simply means that you can handle bits of text explicitly as long as you can get a handle on it...

  • Yes, spans don't actually do anything on their own - they are simply a way to identify a piece of text, known as an 'inline' element as opposed to a block level element. So 'wrapping in a span' would not do anything if you simply put text , if the line was long enough to wrap in a browser. I can't replicate the original problem either, but assume it has to do with code page...

  • That can be handled by wrapping it in a span. Used extensively in recipes, where fractions occur a lot. • As a followup to the solution of this problem, I determined that if you open a file using the codepage command, it may ignore it. I had another error which clouded the actual problem and solution, though - I was removing the html header, and trying to just use the codepage open to force it to the proper code page. Without a proper html header, the highlighting was not working. No...
