  • I don't think integration hooks are involved. TopStyle 4 still works fine with CSE Validator and a couple other programs I have that are older than TS4, so I think the problem lies with whatever this bit of code is doing: ^!Clip "Check TopStyle Enabled" --- In ntb-html@^$1, Larry Hamilton wrote: > My hunch is that newer version(s) of TopStyle no longer offer the > integration hooks...

  • TopStyle 3.5 and TopStyle Lite work with NoteTab, but TopStyle 4 broke the compatibility. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lawrence" Sent: Saturday, September 18, 2010 1:44 PM Subject: [NH] NoteTab Pro and TopStyle > Is anyone using TopStyle with NoteTab? • I just use html. Even the next standard looks to be HTML 5 rather than XHTML 2. All people are doing when they use xhtml is basically serving mangled html, because they are serving their xhtml as though it were html. ----- Original Message ----- From: "fo2resthawkins" Sent: Saturday, January 02, 2010 1:02 PM Subject: [NH] Just learning HTML, wanting to follow XHTML rules >I posted...

  • The captions are working in IE8, FF3 and Safari 4. It may be that the javascript is using CSS that older versions of IE don't support correctly. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Breiding - Morgantown WV" Sent: Sunday, October 25, 2009 3:55 AM Subject: [NH] Site check => IE 8 compatility problems > Greetings, > > This site: http://www.deckerscreek.org/ will not display slide...

  • RGB is what you need for the web. Photoshop can also save jpgs using CMYK which IE can't handle. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ray Shapp" Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2009 9:58 PM Subject: Re: [NH] Image Displays in FF But Not In MSIE > Hi Lotta, > > < > > > Up until now I would have said the same thing. > > > > < you > don't save for web?>>

  • Basically, all modern, major browsers handle true xhtml, that is xhtml served as xhtml rather than html, except IE which will ask you to save the page as a file. Obviously, sites configured for access by the general public are set up to serve pages as html so IE won't choke. Xhtml 1.0 is fine for this purpose, but xhtml 1.1 should only be used if it is in fact going to be served as...
