      For a private mail to Don I have just run up a small example.
      Just change the order in which the <P> and the <IMG> come inside the two
      inner DIVs and look what happens. There should not be any gap between
      gray and white.

      And of course you have to substitute your own images first. I used two
      small ones, 164 px wide by 34 px high, anything around that should do
      fine, but even the "no pic found" placeholder works.

      <STYLE TYPE="text/css">
      .BLUE {
      margin: 0;
      padding: 20px;
      background-color: #0000FF;
      width: 250px;
      }
      .WHITE {
      margin: 0;
      padding: 0;
      background-color: #FFFFFF;
      }
      .GRAY {
      margin: 0;
      padding: 0;
      background-color: #E9E9E9;
      }
      P, IMG {
      margin: 1ex 5%;
      padding: 0;
      border: 0;
      background-color: #FF0000; /* just to what's going on */
      }
      </STYLE>
      <DIV CLASS="blue">
      <DIV CLASS="white">
      <IMG SRC="pics/presse.gif"
      TITLE="image" ALT="image">
      <P>
      a word
      </P>
      </DIV>
      <DIV CLASS="gray">
      <IMG SRC="pics/termine.gif"
      TITLE="another" ALT="another">
      <P>
      another word
      </P>
      </DIV>
      </DIV>
