      Hi Group,

For most of the hot links in a table on my website, my browser (MSIE v6)
connects to the internet using my broadband cable ISP. For only one of the
hot links, my browser insists on connecting via my old dial-up service. Both
accounts are still active, but I am trying to make a complete transition to
      the broadband service.

A snippet from the table is included below. The first link uses broadband,
but the second one goes to the dial-up. Can anyone see why this might be
      happening?

This may not be an HTML related question. If it is not, please give me a hint
as to where I should take my inquiry.

      Thank you.

      Ray Shapp

(longer ?) in service / not listed in DNS or similar. In fact it's not
reacheable as far as i can see.

Since you have more than one possible connections set up, MSIE/Windows
tries to connect via the next available option, after the first fails.

That must be it -- especially since you say odyssey mag is no longer in
          service.

          Many thanks!

            Hi Stefan,

I changed the second URL to>>>
            http://www.odysseymagazine.com/

and now everything is working fine.

With your help, I learned something about how the MSIE browser works.

            Thank you,

            Ray Shapp
