MS IE 6.0.28
- This tag works in all browsers except the infamous IE.
<input type="text" disabled>
The "disabled" attribute is ignored. What is up with that. I am
constantly tweaking for IE, but never for Netscape, Mozilla, Galeon,
w3m, lynx, Opera, Konquerer.
This drives me nuts. There are other instances where I have to do
something none html 4.0 transitional just for IE. Arrrghhh.
Do others in this group have similar issues.
I make sure I have the
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1">
and all code meeting the standard using this site:
the other browsers do. Hell even Netscape 4.x does most things right.
Are there any resources out there that give hints as to what html code
is not operated on correctly by which browser???
Thx in Advance.
