      Hi All,

      Here is the relevant part of the post from Mark:

      <TABLE BORDER=5 CELLPADDING=1 CELLSPACING=1 BGCOLOR=#000000
      BORDERCOLORDARK=#FFCC00 BORDERCOLORLIGHT=#FF9933>
      <TR><TD>
      <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9933>
      <TR><TD>
      <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9900>
      <TR><TD>
      <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9933>
      <TR><TD>
      <IMG SRC="foo.gif" ALIGN=LEFT VSPACE=0 HSPACE=0>
      </TABLE>
      </TABLE>
      </TABLE>
      </TABLE>
      <P>

      btw, when coding "HTML for speed" (I wrote an HTML server for an embedded
      piece of hardware) it's a neat trick to be able to drop the closing tags
      </TR> and </TD>. It saves a good amount of time/bandwidth when you really
      need to. :)

      IE and NS are both okay with this. In fact, IE will let you drop /TABLE,
      /BODY and /HTML as well.

      And... if you're pushing fonts within table data elements, you can drop
      *all* of the closing tags like /FONT, /B, /U, etc...

      Have fun!

      Mark

      Happy HTML'n!
      Jody
