RE: [NH] IE6 weirdness?
- Hello, I suggest for start take the SIZE="+3" out of the body tag, and
go easy on the h3 tags. Prehaps setup a style sheet and define the
colors etc in this and font sizeing. It'll make the pages look easyier
to manage and takes less time then editing every page to change minor
She is correct saying that it doesn't look ok. The base text color seems
With Netscape 4.x it looks much better

Subject: [NH] IE6 weirdness?
I did a very basic web page for a friend
In my IE5.5 and her previous computer, which I believe had IE4.x on it,
displays just fine. She's gotten a "new" computer from a friend with
it. Now she tells me her site is a mess!
She says the text (Verdana) isn't visible, only the links are. But she
even the links are in huge or too tiny font sizes.
Is there something I've missed that I have to do for IE6 and coding? I
don't even pretend to understand (or to have checked on) the differences
Netscape, but an IE version?!
Does anyone have any insight into this? Oh - it's a table-based site,
should mean nothing.
a confused Christine

- Hi Robert,
I have only had two directories for a couple of days. I'll have to let that
settle in before I jump into more. I can see the reasoning for all those
subdirectories as you showed them.
It will be a while before I have all 250 or 260 pages rebuilt. That should
give enough time to mull this over.
