The right tag is TABLE border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=[cell inside margin]

With TABLE border=1 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=[cell inside margin] you have
      thin lines all around.

With TABLE border=5 cellspacing=1 cellpadding=[cell inside margin] you have
a wide border and thin lines.

      ><TD>
      >blablabla
      ><IMG>
      >blablabla
      ></TD>

The carriage return is see as one of that "separator" characters, like
      space and tab.

Some fields can be seen with MSIE only, as dark and light color of lines
and background image for a table/row/cell.

Font must be redefined in every cell for Netscape.

Color values are usually "down-top": the bgcolor defined for a single cell
overrides the bgcolor of the row that overrides the bgcolor of the table.

And, of course, NoteTab is the better tool to build a table, because you
*must* think what you're doing :-)

      Hope this helps

Are you actually meaning 'lines'.? Is this a browser specific thing? Of
cource, if you put an image alone in a cell, setting the cellpadding to a
low number would render as sort of a border or 'frame' in the bgcolor. I
        mean something like this:

        <TABLE border="0" cellpadding="2"><TR><TD align="center">
        <IMG="">
        [+'closingtags']

Besides from that, can you tell me when this occurs? I have only seen
cellpadding render as, well, spacing between cell content and cell border
(visible or not). I'm trying to learn more about browser discrepancy so I
        would appreciate some more info!

        Regards
        Lotta

While you're there, I have another question. If you scroll down the
page to where it says, "Please visit my other auctions HERE", you'll
notice a very slight bulge (using Netscape latest version). I can't
figure out why it does that. I changed the font to a small font
(changed it back) and it didn't make any difference, so I changed it
back. Anyway, it has perplexed me for awhile. I've used this "template"
for several items that I've put up on eBay. Until now, I've ignored
it. I'm wanting to brush up my HTML skills, and then some.

I would love to see any work of yours using Note Tab. Thanks, Marco!!

          Janet

                      Hi Ray!

I haven't created a NoteTab clip with the template, but keep improving
the page and Saving As for the next item. I've sold several items (over
                      300) on eBay, and if I only need one picture, I use one template. If I
use more than one picture and need a table for specs (say, on a guitar),
then I use a different "template". I have created clips, but just for
little things like URL's that I use over and over.
