      Hi Michael,

      > <TABLE WIDTH="100%">

      OH, I did change it to that - forgot about it till you reminded me.

      > you are limiting the width of your table here to screen size.

      > should be unhappy with!

      OK, I understand that since I have 1500 pixels plus a few with 10
      thumbnails at WIDTH=150. Still, I would think I should have got
      a scrollbar and then it wrap at 1024. It is wrapped in a table -
      uh - why -uh - I don't know - haha. OK I was using the table
      before to limit the width to 150*4+15 so the t-nails would wrap
      at that point.

      I am going to try taking the table out and use a couple of
      &;bns$%&* haha spaces in between the. I suspect the table is
      hosing it. ARGH!!!

      Thanks for your trying to help; works fine without the table.

      Looks like eGroups is picking up its speed again - it has been
      really lagged and so has att. Perhaps there are some major
      backbones down in a fiber cut or...

      Happy HTML'n!

        Hi All,

        Here is the relevant part of the post from Mark:

        <TABLE BORDER=5 CELLPADDING=1 CELLSPACING=1 BGCOLOR=#000000
        BORDERCOLORDARK=#FFCC00 BORDERCOLORLIGHT=#FF9933>
        <TR><TD>
        <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9933>
        <TR><TD>
        <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9900>
        <TR><TD>
        <TABLE BORDER=1 BGCOLOR=#000000 BORDERCOLOR=#FF9933>
        <TR><TD>
        <IMG SRC="foo.gif" ALIGN=LEFT VSPACE=0 HSPACE=0>
        </TABLE>
        </TABLE>
        </TABLE>
        </TABLE>
        <P>

        btw, when coding "HTML for speed" (I wrote an HTML server for an embedded
        piece of hardware) it's a neat trick to be able to drop the closing tags
        </TR> and </TD>. It saves a good amount of time/bandwidth when you really
        need to. :)

        IE and NS are both okay with this. In fact, IE will let you drop /TABLE,
        /BODY and /HTML as well.

        And... if you're pushing fonts within table data elements, you can drop
        *all* of the closing tags like /FONT, /B, /U, etc...

        Have fun!

        Mark

        Happy HTML'n!
