are using the same computer to design, publish and view your webpage this
shouldn't be a problem (you might want to check your spelling)...for the
Garamond font (make sure you are using the actual name of the font exactly
as it is, and it must be in quotes if there are "spaces" in its name...as
far as the style sheets problem you just have to learn what works and why

browsers...I also know that if you save it as a .jpg in a .gif format it
won't show up and vice versa.

you have to do to make it work in all...although "fun" can be quite
"frustrating" at times B^)

each browser variation would prove quite long and ineffective...(it's
virtually impossible to actually build a working list of all the
idiosyncracies of each brwoser version). Some websites you might want to
check out for assistance are www.webreview.com www.webmonkey.com
We learn as we go and we go as we learn, it is a never ending process of
growth and communication...

- DUH! Teach me to read a thread before replying! My only excuse is I'm
viewing through the web right now, as eGroups has decided it won'T take
my confirmation e-mail. :-(
I also completely missed the height/width thing, never even heard of
that. THanks for the trick!
