      A resolution between 70-100 dpi is enough, if the photos are not to be
      printed.
      Macromedia's Fireworks allows the definition of image areas with
      higher/lower JPEG-compression, which may be a good idea with heterogeneous
      image content (e.g. portrait in front of blue sky).
