When using AppendToFile, is there anyway to append a hard return (line break) to the end of a file?
/n and ^p are simply inserting /n and ^p as text.
The following is from the NTB help:
^!AppendToFile "FileName" AnyText
Appends the specified text to the end of a disk file. A new file is created if FileName does not exist.
I am using:
^!AppendToFile "^%File%" ^$GetSelection$
^!AppendToFile "^%File%" ,
Which works ok and gets me a comma to delemit my selections (a series of index entries) but I would like to put some hard returns in so that I can insert the filename that the index entries came from.
Anyone know how to append a hard return to a file?
