I was wondering about the effects of compressing (nesting) clip commands.
I like to for example compress the following lines with the intended result
that the code would be faster executed.
But will it ? (its kind of hard to get a accurate timing result within
NoteTab for clip commands)
And might there be some other benefits (or drawbacks) in doing so?, like
memory use or so.
One drawback with compressing command is of course LOW readability, but in
this case that's not an issue.
^!Set %var%=^$StrReplace("^%TAB%";" ";^%var%;0;0)$
???, I also, just for the fun of it, played around with executing commands
from variable, like
... Local weather report ... ... ... Readability just droped below
freezing ... ;-)
with ^! commands you seems to get away with it. But with ^$ commands like
any ideas on this point ?
