      Hi Bryan,

      Here is a better one. You just select the text you want in the new
      document and run the clip. It will create a new doc and make the new doc
      the pasteboard and it does not matter whether another doc is a pasteboard
      or not. It will just switch the pasteboard from the old one to the new
      one. If you know you want the entire document, You can change ^!Toolbar
      Copy to ^!Toolbar Copy All or you can make a second clip with that option
      in it so that you can just click one clipbar button for a selection and the
      other for the whole document since these clips are so small. It is easier
      to do than to write a bigger clip with a wizard and a range of selections
      in it.

      ---------< start clip >---------
      H="New Pasteboard Doc 2"
      ^!Toolbar Copy
      ^!Toolbar Paste New
      ^!Toolbar Paste Board
      ---------< end clip >-----------

      Regards,

      Larry
