When replacing stuff inside a highlighted block through HRAS, that block
may grow or shrink so NT needs to keep a tab on its size. This goes
wrong in one instance:
I often use \n in my replace strings and NT really inserts \r\n but
still counts only one byte. This means the end of the block grows out of
the selection and the last few lines won't get processed.
I once had the problem that \r\n produced two newlines (i.e. an extra
empty line) and it went away on only writing \n. I can't reproduce what
brought that on, but the result is I now have hundreds of Replaces with
just the \n.
You can verify the problem by highlighting any longish paragraph and
^!Replace "e" >> "\ne" HRASTI
^!Replace "e" >> "a" HASTI
The first does all the "e"s and shortens the block, the second will then
miss the last few "e"s.
