      Hi all!

      I'm trying to set a directory so that when I use the File/Open
      dialogue, it's already at the appropriate directory. (Thanks Sheri for
      the file name thing!)

      I've tried ^!ChDir , which is the closest I can find, but it evidently
      really is (?) for Shell paths. I need to drill down into My Documents.

      Any ideas on this?

      I'm doing this:
      ^!ChDir "C:\Documents and Settings\Christine\My
      Documents\Data\Data\Data" or some such thing.

      Can this be done? I can't imagine it can't.
      Thanks!
      Christine

        You can add that directly in the File Open wizard.

        ^?{(T=D)Choose directory=C:\path\to\dir\}

            Yes, but probably want to prompt to choose a file, not directory.
            Here's a way to make it keep prompting if you forget to click a file.

            :Restart
            ;long line follows
            ^!Set %myfile%="^?{(T=O;F="Htm files (*.htm)|*.htm")Click [...] and
            Browse to Desired Htm file=C:\Documents and
            Settings\Christine\_YogaDancer.com\SSI\Yogis\}"
            ;end long line
            ^!Set %myfile%="^$GetFileName("^%myfile%")$"
            ^!IfTrue ^$IsEmpty("^%myfile%")$ Restart
            <!--#include file="../SSI/Yogis/^%myfile% " -->
            ;end of clip
