      Did you try using ^$GetDosOutput or ^$GetInputOutput ? Together with
      launchbat you should be able to get them working, but if you really
      want that kind of intimate interoperation between editor and
      commandline, passing parameters etc. you probably need Xemacs or Vim,
      where the commandline is part of the editor.

      Yes.

      DISK FILES (names of focused doc files)
      ^## = FULL PATH and DOC NAME (+ .ext) - d:\path\file.txt
      ^# = FULL PATH and DOC NAME (- .ext) - d:\path\file

      TEMP FILES (names of focused doc temp files)
      ^** = FULL PATH and DOC NAME (+ .ext) - d:\path\file.txt
      ^* = FULL PATH and DOC NAME (- .ext) - d:\path\file
